The best time to visit Digha is in the month of October – February during the winter season. The weather is pleasant and the tourists can enjoy swimming, surfing, scuba-diving, jet-skiing and all other beach activities. Bengal's biggest festival Durga Puja also happens in the month of October. In summer (March – June) the temperature is around 40 degrees Celsius. Monsoon season starts from July till September.
