We had a great experience at Cygnett Ayodhya. The aspects we found good were - 1. The hotel is well - located. Neither far from the highway nor too far from the Ram Mandir area of Ayodhya. 2. The contemporary design was pleasing to the eye. Especially the bathroom - quite unique! 3. The room was comfortable & had all the necessary amenities. 4. The best part about the hotel was the food. It was simply outstanding. It was so delicious that we ended up having all our meals there. Special mention to the Aloo Ke Gutke & Nimona. 5. At the restaurant, we received exceptional service too. Special mention to Ankit Verma & Nikki. They hosted us really well. I recommend a couple of areas of improvement - 1. On the first night, I asked at reception for a hand towel to be sent to the room. It never came. The second day, I asked at reception for a bottle of water to be sent to the room. That too never came. 2. At the checkout time, I asked if I could get my bill by email. The lady assured me that I would. It's been almost three days since I checked out but the bill hasn't come yet. If they take care of these two minor issues, Cygnett Ayodhya will be considered an exceptional hotel. I'm sure to recommend it to everyone who travels to Ayodhya.
